WRINKLE REDUCTION AND ACNE SCAR IMPROVEMENT

WRINKLE REDUCTION AND ACNE SCAR IMPROVEMENT

We are using the newest fractional technology to significantly reduce the appearance of wrinkles and acne scarring. The Palomar 1540 fractional technology produces thousands of tiny but deep columns of treatmens in your skin, known as microthermal treatment zones. This is done with limited discomfort to the patient as the Palomar 1540 utilizes patented cooling. Just as important as the treated areas are the areas of skin that are left untouched. The fractional treatment allows the skin to heal much faster than if the entire area was treated at once, using the body's natural healing process to create new, healthy tissue.

We are now offering skin tightening with minimal discomfort. Introducing the LUXIR laser that sends infrared light pulses deep into the dermis, where it creates a carefully controlled area of elevated temperature. This technology has been shown to trigger a biological response which leads to collagen remodeling in the deep dermis. Remodeled collagen can smooth out fine wrinkles and tighten sagging skin.

Mottling or mottled skin refers specifically to vascular changes in the skin which cause a patchy appearance.

A person's degree of skin pigmentation determines, to some extent, the various dermatological diseases to which a person may be susceptible. Lighter-skinned people are more sensitive to sun exposure and damage.   Excessive sun exposure is a risk factor even for darker-skinned people.

Our office treats discromia and mottled skin by using several techniques.  They are the Alexandrite laser, Intense Pulsed Light, Photorejuvenation, Microdermabrasion, and Chemical Peel.  The type of treatment to utilize will be determined by the doctor after your initial consultation.  Multiple procedures of the treatment will be needed to optimize the results.
